Release a quality checklist template using a workflow

You can release a quality checklist template by accessing the Submit to workflow option.

Procedure

1. In the Launcher , click the Quality Master Data.

If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

2. Click Checklists.

3. Select the quality checklist template that you want to release.

4. Choose More Commands

Manage > Submit to Workflow .

In Submit to Workflow, the default value for Template is Release Checklist Specification, and the default value for Name is Release Checklist Specification: Checklist.

5. Specify a name for the workflow or accept the default.

6. Click Submit.

Results

The workflow to release the quality checklist template is initiated and the quality checklist template is released and the Release Status is set to TCM Released.

Note

If you want to customize the value for Release Status, you can update the QC-Release-Checklist-Specification workflow handler.

If you select assignee, the checklist is released when the assignee complete their assigned tasks.

Once a quality checklist template is released, you can create a new version of released quality checklist template.
