Managing a quality audit

Specify the planning properties for the quality audit

If you follow a specific process to conduct your quality audit, you can specify this process in Teamcenter.

Example

You are performing a quality audit on the door of a car during the first shift. In Teamcenter, you can enter detailed information about the audit, including the Process, Sub-Process, production Line, the specific variant of the vehicle, and the Shift. These detailed records help accurately track the audit activities and improve the effectiveness of the quality audit process. They also help in implementing targeted improvements.

Procedure

  1. Open the required quality audit.

  2. Choose More Commands

Edit Start Edit.

  1. In the Additional Planning Properties section, select the required option from the Process list.

Note If the process your industry follows is not listed, you can manually enter the name of the process.

  1. Select the required option from the Sub-Process list.

Note

The Sub-Process options are dependent on the Process options.

If you have entered a custom name for the process, you must also enter the sub-process name manually.

  1. In the Line field, specify the production or assembly line for the quality audit process.

  2. In the Shift field, specify the shift of the day when you want to conduct the quality audit process.

  3. Click Save.
