Configure Teamcenter import system to handle PLMXML

Before importing a released FMEA structure in the PLM XML format, you must configure the FMEA_PLMXML_Export _PS transfer mode. Additionally, you must allow modifications to the release status during the import process. This involves using property constants to change the characteristics of business object properties.

Procedure

1. In PLM XML/TC XML Export Import Administration:
   
   Select and expand the FMEA_PLMXML_Export TM transfer mode.
   
   Select the FMEA_PLMXML_Export _PS property set.
   
   From the PropertySet table, specify the following settings for the primary objects, WorkspaceObject and ReleaseStatus.

2. In BMIDE:

                    Search for the
                            WorkspaceObject business
                        object.
                
                
                    Right-click the business object and select Open.
                
                
                    In the resulting view, click the Properties  tab and select the
                            release_status_list
                        property.
                
                
                    On the Property
                            Constants tab, select Modifiable property constant and click Edit.  
                
                
                    In the Modify Property
                            Constant dialog box, select the value  Write and click Finish.
                    The new value is displayed in the Value column of the Property Constants table.
