Display your company logo in Problem Solving and issue reports

You can customize the Problem Solving and issue reports to display your company logo.

Procedure

1. In Preferences, search for the ProblemSolvingReportCompanyLogo preference.

The search results display the preferences used to display the logo in the Problem Solving and issue reports. The value of the preferences is set to the name of the dataset that contains the report logo. By default, the ProblemSolvingReportCompanyLogo dataset contains the report logo.

2. Perform an advanced search for the ProblemSolvingReportCompanyLogo dataset as follows:

In Advanced Search, select Dataset as the type of search.

In the Name box, type ProblemSolvingReportCompanyLogo.

From the Dataset Type list, select Image.

Clear the values in the Owning User list, and click Search.

3. Choose More Commands

   Edit  > Replace File .

4. In the Replace panel, click Select File to browse to and select the new logo file, and click Replace.

When a quality engineer generates a report, the new logo appears in the report. Note The new logo file must be in the Portable Network Graphic (PNG) format.
