Create a follow-up audit

A follow-up audit is an audit that has properties similar to its original audit or a predecessor audit. It helps to create frequently scheduled audits that are similar to their predecessor audits with less effort. An audit administrator or an audit planner creates the follow-up audits.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the required folder and select the audit for which you want to create a follow-up audit.

  2. Choose More Commands > click New > Save As.

  3. In the Save As panel, specify the required properties.

  4. Select the Create Follow-up Audit check box.

Note The data in the Findings tab is not copied in the follow-up audit as the findings for each audit are different.

  1. Click Save As.The follow-up audit is created and added as a Successor audit. In the Overview tab, under DEPENDENCIES, you can view the name for the follow-up audit. Also, the original audit is added as the Predecessor audit.
