Reminders and escalation help you monitor and manage tasks that have approaching or passed due dates. You can use them to ensure tasks are completed on time and to notify appropriate personnel when tasks are delayed.

Reminders

You can use reminders to notify users about their upcoming or overdue tasks. You can set up reminders to alert users before a task's due date, notify users when a task becomes overdue, and send periodic notifications until the task is complete.

Escalation

You can use escalation to automatically notify supervisors or managers when tasks are significantly overdue. Escalation helps ensure that delayed tasks receive appropriate attention from higher management. Escalation triggers when a task remains incomplete beyond a specified period, notifies designated personnel and their managers based on the escalation.
