Customize risk assessment scales

You can modify the risk priority values for FMEA guidelines to ensure failure modes are effectively evaluated based on their severity, occurrence, and detection ratings.

Procedure

1. Search for the required FMEA guideline and open it.

2. Click the Risk Matrix tab.

3. To change the risk priority value, double-click on the cell of the risk matrix that you want to modify. You can select a cell from the Severity Vs Occurrence, Severity Vs Detection, or Detection Vs Occurrence matrix.

4. In the message box, change the risk priority value as required and click Save.

Results

When you modify the out of the box FMEA guidelines, the existing configuration file is overwritten. There is no new configuration file created.
