Define how the risk is calculated

By default, the highest severity value from multiple failure effects is used to calculate a single risk priority number (RPN) for all effects because the FMEA_formsheet_Risk_Calculation_Using_Failure_Effect preference is set to false.

To calculate separate RPNs for each failure effect, set the preference to true.

To set the value to

When set to true, the icon for failure causes with multiple effects appears in the formsheet, indicating that each effect has its own RPN calculation.

Note

RPN values marked with cannot be filtered within the formsheet. To filter RPN values, export the data to Microsoft Excel.
