Configure Quality Action Management

Set up and view audit logs for quality actions

For each quality action, audit logs are generated to track each action performed on the quality action. The audit logs help you to track the lifecycle, from creating the quality action to closing it. For example, you can track when external users are added, when corrective tasks are assigned, or when the status has changed. The audit logs also help to troubleshoot any errors that might occur.

Procedure

  1. From Launcher , click Preferences.

If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

  1. Search for and open AWC_show_audit_logs preference, and click Edit . This preference controls the display of the Audit Log tab in the quality action object.

  2. In the VALUES field, set the value to true.

  3. Similarly, set the following preferences:

Set the TC_audit_manager to ON.

Set the TC_audit_manager_version preference to 3.

The GENERAL LOGS section displays the general actions that have been performed on the quality action. The WORKFLOW LOGS section displays the workflow-related actions that have been performed on the quality action.
