Configure prompts for Teamcenter

    Copilot Quality

You can customize how the Teamcenter Copilot Quality functions as a chat assistant for your organization's various business scenarios. To do this, you can configure the prompts to define how it processes a responsible user's prompts and generates suggestions.

Procedure

  1. Open the required quality data and click Copilot .

  2. In the Copilot panel, select Quality , and then click Prompt Configuration .
Note The Prompt Configuration panel displays properties for the current context. When you modify these properties, the changes are applied to all objects of that context type.
Example When you open an audit, the Prompt Configuration panel displays audit-specific configurations and audit-related instructions.

  3. Modify the required configuration properties.

                                     Property
                                     Purpose

                                     Target
Defines the Teamcenter business object type that
the chat assistant creates and modifies, such as `C2IssueRevision`, `Qfm0FMEANode`, or `C2CapaRevision`.

                                     Intention
                                     Defines the purpose of the
configuration using action-oriented language such as *generate*, *create*, or *analyze*.
Includes multiple use cases separated by *or* if applicable.

                                     Task
                                     Defines the primary instruction that
tells the chat assistant what to generate and what role
                                         to assume.

                                     Instructions

                                         Defines detailed rules and
guidelines that control how the chat assistant
processes data. Separate multiple instructions with
                                             a hash symbol (#).

                                     Summary
                                             Context
                                     Controls whether the chat assistant
uses additional contextual data for your use case. You can provide contextual data in
                                             two ways:

                                               Transfer mode: Create a
transfer mode with `PLM_XML` or `TC_XML`. `PLM_XML` provides better output compared
                                               to `TC_XML`.
                                               Format: `TRANSFERMODE:<transfer_mode_name>`
                                               Example
                                               `TRANSFERMODE:QualityAuditForSummaryContextTM`
is used for audit summary cases.

                                               Report: Create a report and
export it in HTML format with minimal data to pass
                                               contextual information.
                                               Format: `REPORT:<REPORT_ID>:<XSLT_NAME>`
                                               Example
                                               `REPORT:TC_2606_CAW_PSP_AI_RPT_1:AWC_Problem_Solving_AI_Report_html.xsl`
is used to generate reports in HTML format.

                                             Note
                                             Both the transfer mode and
report are customizable. You can configure them
                                               according to your specific requirements.

                                     Parent Context
                                     Controls whether the chat assistant
can access information from the parent business object.
Select this option to enable analysis of the parent
object. By default, this option is not selected, and the
chat assistant works only with the target
                                         object.
