Add an external user to a qualification profile

You can add an external user to a qualification profile to allow them to receive training notifications without requiring them to create a Teamcenter user account.

Note

You must not add a Teamcenter user as a Target Entity in the qualification profile. If you add a Target Entity, the qualification profile will be linked to the Teamcenter user, preventing external users from receiving notifications.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the required course offering and open it.

2. Choose More Commands > Edit > Start Edit .

3. Select the External Profile check box.

4. In the Email field, specify the external user's email.

5. Choose More Commands > Edit > Save Edits .

Results

The external user is added to the qualification profile and they receive notifications through email.
