Managing a quality audit
Create an audit
During the audit planning phase, the audit planner creates the audit object by specifying the audit name, description, and the audit guideline object.
You can create a quality audit guideline to facilitate the audit creation task. For example, you can create quality audit guidelines and configure the finding types, or industry standards that are available when users are creating a particular type of audit.
Procedure
- In the Launcher , click Explorer.
If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.
- Choose More Commands
New Add.
- In the Add panel, select Quality Audit.
Note If Teamcenter Copilot Quality is available, you can prompt it to create suggestions for your quality data.
Specify the name and description.
From the Quality Audit Guideline list, select the required guideline.
Note Do not select the Template check box as it will create an audit template instead.
Note You can track the status of your quality audit if a workflow is assigned to the selected quality audit guideline.
- Click Add.
