Configure the reminders and escalations for quality data

When you install Escalation Management Translator, the Dispatcher automatically checks for quality data that requires reminders or escalations. Reminders notify users of upcoming quality data due dates, while escalations alert quality managers when actions are overdue.

You can configure when and how often the Dispatcher runs these checks. You can do this by changing the values of the following preferences:

  • By default the, AWC_escalation_mgmt_start_time preference value is 1, which means the first reminder is sent to the users after one day. To change the wait time to five days, change the value to 5.

  • By default, the AWC_escalation_mgmt_sleep_time preference value is 24, which means the reminders is sent every 24 hours for the quality data that are approaching due dates or overdue. To run the check every 48 hours, change the value to 48.

  • By default, the AWC_Rem0ReadReminderProfilesFromPreference preference value is false. To read reminder profiles from the quality data specified in the Qam0ReminderAndEscalationProfiles preference, change the value to true.
