Working with Problem Solving reports

Analyze the Problem Solving performance

You can evaluate the performance of Problem Solving on key performance indicators, for example, how many Problem Solving processes are open, when they were closed, which Problem Solving processes were closed after the due date, and which ones were closed on time.

You can add these reports to your dashboard.

Procedure

  1. From Launcher, click Reports .

If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

  1. In Reports, to add a report from Templates, click Add Report .

By default, the available reports are displayed as thumbnails in My Dashboard.

  1. Search for the default Problem Solving reports in the Add Report panel by specifying Problem Solving as the search criteria.

  2. Select the required report, and click Add.

  3. (Optional) Open the report, and if the report contains data in a tabular format at the bottom, click the table header of the column you want to sort and choose the appropriate option. You can also select an operator for further filtering. The valid operators are Contains, Does not contain, Begins with, Ends with, Equals, and Does not equal. For example, for an open Problem Solving report, you can select Category and type Product to find the Problem Solving processes created for products.

  4. To export the report as a Microsoft Excel file, click Export to Excel .

The Export To Excel panel is displayed with a list of properties available for export.

  1. To change the order of the properties, select a property, and in the Selected Properties section, click Move Up or Move Down .

  2. To add more or remove properties to be exported, do the following:

In the Selected Properties section, click Add Properties .

Select the check boxes for the properties that you want to export.

In the Add Properties pane, clear the check boxes for the properties that you do not want to export.

Click Add.

  1. Click Export.

A dialog box is displayed to download the Excel file to your computer.
