About importing FMEA structures into Teamcenter

You can import FMEA structures from external systems, legacy tools, or other Teamcenter environments. This centralizes FMEA data and enables cross-functional collaboration on quality processes.

You can import data in one of the following formats:

• MSR-XML format: Industry-standard format for FMEA data

• PLMXML format: Siemens native format

Before importing the FMEA data, you need to prepare the

MSR-XML

and

PLMXML

files.
