Map quality action statuses with the appropriate workflows

When quality engineers create or copy a quality action, a workflow is automatically triggered based on its status. To fit your organization's specific quality processes, you can map custom statuses to appropriate workflows or replace default workflows by updating the Qam0QualityActionStatusWorkflow preference.

The Qam0QualityActionStatusWorkflow preference uses a specific format that maps each status to a workflow. The format differs based on whether the quality action requires confirmation.

  • For quality actions that do not require confirmation: Status:WorkflowName.Example Draft:Quality Action without Confirmation Status Change Workflow
