Configure if Quality Characteristics are generated in the Released status

    after importing PMI

When you import product and manufacturing information (PMI) from a balloon in the part drawing, a Quality Characteristic is generated from the balloon and attached to the generated Inspection Definition. You can configure whether this Quality Characteristic is generated in the Released status using the ACP_RELEASE_CHARACTERISTIC_DURING_PMI_IMPORT preference.

Procedure

1. In Preferences, search for the ACP_RELEASE_CHARACTERISTIC_DURING_PMI_IMPORT preference, select it from the search results, and click Edit .

2. Set the preference value to True to generate the Quality Characteristic in the Released status.

3. Click Save .
