Working with FMEAs in the net view
Net views display the hierarchy of the system element, function, and failure representations of the FMEA structure in a graphical format.
When you open the FMEA object and click the Structure Analysis, Function Analysis, or Failure Analysis tab, a graphical view of the selected representation is displayed.
The following table describes the operations you can perform in the net view.

| Save the layout of the current view. | Click Save Layout . |
| Revert to the saved layout. | Click Apply Layout and select Fixed. |
| Specify the structure level up to which you want to expand the selected tile. | Click Expand N Levels. |
| Display all functions, failures, action groups, and actions for a tile in a single action. | Select the tile and click More Commands and select Show All FMEA Elements . |
| Highlight the immediate connections or entire path. | Select the node and click Highlight and select one of the following: Direct Connections to highlight the immediate connections to and from the selected node. Entire Path to highlight the entire path to and from the selected node. |
| Sort function and failure analysis items in the net view by order number or tree hierarchy. | Click Sort . |
| Select corresponding higher or lower level nodes. | Select the node and click Select. |
| Delete an object from the net view. | Right-click the tile and choose Delete. You can also select the tile, and on the top toolbar, click Delete. |
| Expand all higher level elements in the net view. | Select the tile and click More Commands and select Expand All Higher Level Elements. |
| Expand all lower level elements in the net view. | Select the tile and click More Commands and select Expand All Lower Level Elements. |
| Hide all higher level elements in the net view. | Select the tile and click More Commands and select Hide All Higher Level Elements. |
| Hide all lower level elements in the net view. | Select the tile and click More Commands and select Hide All Lower Level Elements. |
| Pin a net view in a separate floating panel. | Click Screen and select Pin Net View . All the operations supported in the analysis tab are available in the pinned view. |
