View master and variant FMEA structures in the split view

You can open the selected master and variant FMEAs side-by-side in the split view for easy comparison.

Procedure

1. Open the split view using one of the following methods.

                From the FMEA
                        Variants tab, in the Latest
                        Version of All Derived Variants section, click Split
                    .
                From the Overview
                    tab, in the Master Template section,
                    click Split
                    .
                Select the FMEA root node, from the  History tab,
                    in the Difference Summary and Align History section,
                    click Show Comparison to open the split view with a
                    compare result.
            
            
                Note 
                    The Split command
                        is active only when you select an FMEA in either the Latest Version of All Derived Variants
                        section or the Master Template
                        section.
                
            
            A side-by-side view displays the master FMEA and the
                variant FMEA in a tabular format with the source FMEA on the left and target
                FMEA on the right.
   

2. Click Exit Split View to exit from the split view.
