Start the escalation_mgmt service to trigger reminders and escalations for

quality data

Start the escalation_mgmt service to enable automatic reminders and escalations notifications for quality data. The service creates Dispatcher jobs that monitor quality data and trigger notifications based on due dates.

Prerequisites

Start the Dispatcher services and make sure escalation_mgmt service is listed in the module service

.

Procedure

  1. Start the escalation_mgmt service.
    Open the Teamcenter command prompt. Navigate to the TC_ROOT folder. Run the following command:
    For Windows: escalation_mgmt.exe -u=<user> -p=<password>

    For Linux: escalation_mgmt.sh -u=<user> -p=<password>

  2. Check the status of the escalation_mgmt service.

         Open the Teamcenter Rich Client.
         Click My
               Teamcenter.
         Select File > Translation > Administrator Console – ALL.The Dispatcher
               Request Administration Console displays the status of the escalation_mgmt service.
         To view more details about the escalation_mgmt service, click the Properties tab.
    

Results

The Dispatcher logs are available under DR [Dispatcher Root] folder. The reminder and escalations logs are available in the escalation_mgmt.exe_timestamp.syslog file.
