Perform a root cause analysis
Validate the evaluation of each defect in the Root Cause Analysis tree
structure
After you complete the root cause analysis, you can simultaneously validate the evaluation of multiple defects at once to ensure accuracy, prevent recurrence, and maintain data integrity. By selecting the current status from the Evaluation list, namely, Draft, Investigating, Confirmed, or Invalidated, you can track the progress and validity of each defect. After analysis, you can confirm the defect's validity by selecting either Confirmed or Invalidated.

From Launcher, click Changes .
If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.From the CHANGES folder, select and open the Problem Solving process that you want to edit.
Click the Root Cause Analysis work mode.
You can select the current status of the defect by doing any of the following:
Assign a status from the work area toolbar: In the left pane of the Root Cause Analysis work mode, select the required defects. From the work area toolbar, click Assess Evaluation . From the Evaluation list, select the current status of the defect. Click Save.
Assign a status from the Evaluation list in the Evaluation column: In the left pane of the Root Cause Analysis work mode, select the problem description defect. From the work area toolbar, click Edit .You can also update the description of a defect in the Description column. For a defect in the Root Cause Analysis tree structure, from the Evaluation list, select the current status of the defect. After you validate the evaluation of each defect, click Save .
