After upgrading from Teamcenter 13.x or

        Teamcenter 14.0 and Active Workspace 6.1

In Active Workspace 6.1, the FMEA data model was updated to include some new functionalities or enhance existing functionalities. When you upgrade from a Teamcenter 13.x or 14.x version with Active Workspace 6.1, you must perform certain tasks so that the new and enhanced functionalities are reflected in the existing FMEA objects.

Functionality	Task to perform
Automatic cascading of severity	Run the qfm0_cascade_severity utility to automatically cascade the severity for failure for the FMEAs where you want to cascade the severity value. You can run this utility to update one or more FMEA's by providing their UIDs.
Update sequence	After upgrading Teamcenter, the sequence property of all FMEA objects are set to 10, by default. Run the qfm0_update_sequence utility so that the sequence property of objects in a FMEA tree structure is automatically updated based on their creation dates.
Migrate severity	Run the qfm0_migrate_severity utility to migrate the severity data from failure effects to system elements.
Migrate risk evaluation	Run the qfm0_migrate_risk_evaluation utility to migrate risk evaluation data from Qfm0RiskEvaluation (including qfm0ActionPriority and qfm0RPN) to Qam0QualityAction (including qam0Priority and qam0RPN).
Update external elements	Run the qfm0_migrate_external_element utility to update function and failure elements that currently do not have a parent element assigned (NULL) by setting the FMEA node as their parent.
