Managing a quality audit

Create the audit checklist master data

Checklists contain the questionnaires that are used during the execution phase of the audit. Based on the standards, during the audit planning phase, the audit planner creates these checklists in the Quality Master Data library and links these checklists to the audit object.

Procedure

  1. In the Launcher , click Quality Master Data. If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

  2. Click the Checklists tab.

  3. Click New > Add.

  4. In the Add panel, specify a value for the Checklist ID, and enter a Name for the checklist.

     You can optionally add a description and a number if required.
    
  5. From the Checklist Type, select the Checklist.

  6. Specify the checklist number if required.

  7. In the SETTINGS section, select the Assessment Required and Mandatory check boxes if required.

  8. Click Add to create the checklist in the Quality Master Data library.

  9. To add a Checklist, Chapter, Question, or Sub-Question to the checklist, do the following:

         Select the checklist specification and in the primary toolbar, click New
            > Add.
       
       
         In the Add panel, specify the Checklist ID and Name.
       
       
         From the Checklist Type list, select Chapter, Question, or Sub-Question.
         In the tree view, you can also drag and drop checklists, chapters, questions, or sub-question from one element to other.
       
       
         Specify a number if required.
       
       
         In the SETTINGS section, select the Assessment Required and Mandatory check boxes if required.
       
       
         Click Add.
         The Checklist, Chapter, Question, or Sub-Question is included in the checklist.
