Change the sort order of an FMEA generated from a source structure

By default, an FMEA generated from a source structure is sorted by sequence number. This is because the FMEA_Source_Structure_Sort_Property preference is set to seq_no by default.

You can change the sort order by modifying this preference to use other properties.

Procedure

1. From Launcher , click Preferences.
   If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

2. In the Search box, type FMEA_Source_Structure_Sort_Property.

3. Click Edit .

4. In the Values section, replace seq_no with the property name you want to use for sorting. You will find this name in the Property Name column of the FMEA business <use the actual BO name> object.
   Example To sort by item ID, type item_id in the Values field.

5. Click Save .
